We will meet up on zoom once a month for six months & stitch in community.
We can share our experiences as the inner work we do on "feeling forward" begins to take hold in our days.
These will be live and also uploaded here in our circle to play back if you miss it.
I will be sharing my own stitching on camera & as we circle & feel our way forward into the year. I will be happy to share techniques & stitches.
Last year I deeply loved this workshop and the community. I missed you all when it was over and I think a monthly stitching virtual stitching circle is just what we need.
What do I see for us all?
I see a safe place where we can keep in touch & stay accountable as a group as we navigate forward.
The focus on this years' Feel Forward is about steadiness & calm, and slow stitching is such a beautiful way to self calm and get into our hearts and hands.
Pictured here is long term stitching project that I started in August of 2025.
I will share this process with you in our workshop. It was a huge part of the second half of 2025. This felt like a journal of simply stitches that said volumes in texture, size, and stitch proximity about how I was feeling.
My focus as an artist & teacher is to offer what my soul needs and I need this. I think we all do. xo.
We will be working on a long term stitching project like the seed stitches above or enhancing a piece of clothing that has already has meaning.
I have had this denim jacket since I was 21, a gift from a guy I loved who would become my husband.
I have a vision of the back of this jacket being filled with tiny stitches and french knots.
One of my favorite things is to work on clothes that are storied and full of memories.
